We are looking for a full-time advanced level Administrative Assistant.

take on greater responsibility.
This is a hands-on, multi-tasked, and challenging position for someone who wants to take the lead in our office and keep everything working efficiently by:
· Performing various routine and complex administrative functions such as answering telephones, typing or word processing, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, receiving deliveries, maintaining office supplies and equipment.
· Providing excellent administrative support to estimators and other company personnel by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing general office and clerical functions.
· Project administration, efficiently handling paper flow from start to finish, analytical project costing, completely in charge of project files.
· Assisting in or taking on other office functions such as bookkeeping, job costing, marketing (advertising), office supervision.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· 5 + years advanced level administrative experience in a professional or construction office environment.
· Knowledge of construction contract administration and documentation a plus.
· Excellent skills in communication (written, oral, listening), problem solving.
· Work both independently and as part of a team.
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, follow up on and complete tasks.
· Excellent computer skills.
· Expert and thorough knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, office equipment and procedures.
· Exposure, familiarity and some experience with basic bookkeeping/accounting principles.
Our office is located in an industrial warehouse, off 98th Avenue and San Leandro Boulevard in Oakland. You must have your own reliable transportation to and from work. The Coliseum BART station is approximately 1.5 miles away.
The
office atmosphere is informal and casual.
The office hours are 8:00 a.m. to
5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
