IFTI seeks a Marketing Coordinator to support the acquisition of long-term, quality customers for the company, through lead generation activities which produce qualified prospects.

This is a permanent, full time position, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm.



SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Once trained in IFTI’s Orchestrated Marketing Coordinator Process, you will be responsible for understanding and executing efficiently on the process.
  • Coordinates and prepares for sales programs and special events such as trades shows, seminars, webinars, promotions, and company events and parties. Orchestrate and organize all related documents and tasks: arrange travel, schedule meetings, ship and return the tradeshow booth, create/gather all necessary supplies for each event. May travel to assist in working at industry tradeshows periodically.


  • Implement public relations activities including news and releases to the media, quarterly customer newsletters and webinars, and maintaining relations with industry trade associations. Research information, write content, distribute newsletters, and follow up. Create and maintain relationships with industry trade associations and members; ensure IFTI is involved in them.


  • Research industry information to identify new leads as outlined in IFTI’s Sales Guide. Use IFTI’s research tools identity ideal clients, compile information into spreadsheet.


  • Makes research calls for the purpose of producing qualified prospects, verify names and decision makers who handle specifications. You are identifying contacts and providing them to the sales team.


  • Maintain new leads in Sales Force CRM system, Lead Generation Systems, SpecLink and IFTI’s Website. Enter information into the database after tradeshows. Update lead databases, website and social media.


  • Responsible for capturing data and tracking lead evolution based upon data input from the sales team including but not limited to: lead generation by activity, industry sector, geography, type (GC, Retailer, Architect, Strategic Partner, etc.), marketing tactic success (number of leads generated, conversion rate; participants in webinars, free talks (AIA); PR impressions; advertising inquiries).

Managerial Work:
  • Organize, plan and execute on assigned projects.
  • Accountable for the reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as required by the Marketing Manager.
  • Recommends, develops and implements improved systems, policies and procedures for the department and its function.
  • Plans and prioritize workday for optimum effectiveness.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities and/or assignments as requested by the Marketing Manager.




Additional duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Organize, plan, and execute on assigned projects.
  • Recommends, develops and implements improved systems, policies and procedures for the department and its function.
  • Plans and prioritizes workday for optimum effectiveness.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities and/or assignments as directed by the Marketing Manager.




EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Minimum of one to two years of overall office related work experience, after college.
  • Construction and/or flooring related industry experience a plus, but is not required.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with entire Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • Must have excellent people, organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Must be very detail oriented.

EDUCATION:
College degree preferred. Marketing, business or related degree preferred.
